Atiku in Owerri,lambast APC over poor performance

…promises restructuring

The former Nigerian vice president,Alhaji Atiku Abubarkar has lambasted his former party,All Progressives Congress(APC) over poor performance and nepotism.

The Adamawa born Politician stated this the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) state Secretariat along Owerri-Okigwe road on wednesday during consultation visit to Imo state.

Atiku states that the entrance into the nation’s seat of power had seen the nation’s economy thumble for worst with 12million loss of jobs and others.

The Presidential aspirant had in his address to numerous Atiku supporters and support groups including indigenes of the Eastern heartland called for an overhaul and total restructuring of of this nation.

He bemoaned the rising cases of insecurity in the nation and promised that a PDP government would tackle these head-on and help restore sanity.

According to him, “I am overwhelmed with your support. Since 1988, Imo has been a PDP, state I want Imo state to be returned to PDP.

“APC, has failed. We have over 12 million unemployed Nigeria youths. That is the statistics given to us by APC, it is not my own statistics.

“When APC, took over power they promised alot but today we are seeing nothing. We are witnessing bad governance in Imo state and Nigeria.

 “In the North, our brother and sisters can’t go to the markets because they will kill them. Let me tell you, I am ready to lead the struggle to change the unfortunate situation in this country. PDP will take over Imo state and Nigeria in 2019.

 “PDP, will restructure this country and give you back power. What is all these nonsense. We must take back our state and Nigeria. Imo is still PDP state.”

Meanwhile, Engr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and Rt.Hon Emeka Ihedioha and some notable PDP stakeholders have endorsed the aspiration of Alhaji Atiku Abubarkar

On hand to receive Alhaji Abubarkar in Imo state were Ex Gov. Achike Udenwa,Chief Athan Achonu, Hon Thankgod Ezeani, Senator Chris Anyanwu, and others
