IMO PDP AND OKOROCHA’S AIDE COUNTER CLAIMS OVER TRAINING OF SNIPERS

The commissioner for Information and Strategy in Imo State, Dr TOE Ekechi has come hard on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state describing same as a Political party that delights in reigning and ruining the affairs of Imo Collective enterprise. He Stated the above during a press Conference in Owerri following the alarm raised by the PDP State Secretary, Sir George Eguh, on the importation of Boko Haram into Imo State by Governor Rochas Okorocha.

According to the Commissioner ,the allegation is totally false, baseless and a “serial rubbuish” coming from the “confederacy of Political Spent Forces, predominantly of men and women of limited moral mettle and with no idea of what it takes to transform a polity as exemplified by Owelle Rochas Okorocha”. Continuing, he questioned the rationality in importing Boko Haram fundamentalist into the state and only to camp them at the premises housing a busy Media outfit and a Vocational Centre, Imo College of Advanced Professional Studies (ICAPS) and along a busy highway while the low fencing makes it possible for people to view activities in the centre without hindrance.

Moreso,he querried the PDP for not alerting the Security agencies on their findings for proper investigations and possibly apprehend the culprits for possible prosecution. While challenging the Imo State PDP and Sir Egu to come clean by substantiate the allegations insisting that the “PDP is envious and certainly unhappy over the onslaught of the Police and other Security Agencies as well as the Imo Security Network in riding Imo State of Armed robbers, kidnappers and Child Traffickers”

However, the Acting Publicity Secretary of PDP in Imo State, Bar Enyinnaya Onuegbu, has retreated that the alarm as raised by PDP is from reports available to the party as lives are involved.
