The governorship bid of the ‘Not Too Young to run Advocate’ received great support as Youths from across the 27 Local Government Areas(LGA) in Imo state gathered at the All Saints Anglican Cathederal field,Egbu in Owerri North calling on him to to come and save imo state.
The youths came in their thousands beckoning on the Eziudo,Ezinihite Mbaise, Imo State-born legislator who presently represents Isolo 11,federal constituency(Lagos state) in the nation’s House of Representatives to come back to his place and kick-start a renewal of hope in Imo state.
The Youths who launched the Operation bring Tony back to Imo State, vow to match round the state until the Youth advocator accepts to lead the renewal of Imo’s fallen wall.
In his address,the State Coordinator of Imo Renewal Youth Movement,Comrade Chukwu Kelechi Kingsley states that the group has been in existence for over two years and in 305 electoral wards in Imo state, and having followed the activities of Hon Nwulu in the nation’s Political sphere came to conclussion that he has the capacity to turn the fortune of the state round for good.
Continuing, the Coordinator described the youthful legislator who is the House committee’s deputy Chairman on Capital markets and Institutions as a trusted and tested youth advocate, entrepreneur, visionary, leader of leaders, renown moblizer, Philanthropist and global citizen whose desire revolves round creative changes.
Speaking on the summit, the keynote speaker,Mr Obi Madu declares that leadership is about transferring vision into reality, and that Nigeria needs visionary leaders rather ambitious people. He urged the youths to take the steps towards personal development realising that continuous education transforms us better than the school.
Inaddition,mr Madu made a call on the youths to get their Permanent Voters Card(PVC) towards determining who presides over the affairs of our state and our future. He maintains that Hon.Nwulu represents generational shift burdened with the desire to empower the younger generation.
Awokinunu George,State Secretary,Chibuzo Okafor from Orsu LGA,Chimezie Micheal from Ideato-North,Obi Nnaemeka from Oru-East,Richard Emerenwanyim from Ikeduru,Onyeonoro Emmanuel from Ahiazu Mbaise,Uzokwu Ifeanyi from Okigwe and other speakers drawn from the 27 LGAs including the students body commended Hon Nwulu’s drive for change through the “Not Too Young to Run bill” and endorsed his governorship bid declaring that Imo State is in danger and would need youthful mind ready to drive change.
