Ex Edo Governor steps down from APC Nat.Chairmanship contest

A former governor of Edo State and chairmanship contestant in the All Progressives Congress(APC) National Convention,Pro Osereimhen Osunbor has stepped down from the contest.

The stepping down according to the University law teacher is in recognition and respect of the President,Muhammudu Buhari and to avoid any rancor in the ruling party.

The national convention is billed for Saturday june 23,2018 in Abuja with delegates and observers making arrangements for their arrival from across the states of Nigeria and beyond.

Meanwhile, the stepping down by Prof Osunbor is seen as a fruit of negotiations and horse trading paving way for another ex governor of Edo state,Mr Adams Oshimole.
